The Email setup screen enables you to send email through the program.
To set up email:
- Select Admin on the main menu.
- Select Settings.
- Select Email Setup.
- Enter your email address.
- Enter the SMTP server.
- Enter Email Username.
- Enter Email Password.
- Enter Outgoing Port Number.
- Select "Notify Me?" option.
- Enter a test email address in the Send Test Email field.
- Enter your Email Signature.
- Select the Group Size for email to be sent.
- Click Test Settings.
- The message returned should be "Email sent successfully."
- Click Save Changes.
- If you receive an error message, the setup is not correct.
The following information should be obtained from your email service provider:
- Email address
- SMTP server
- Email user name
- Email password
- Outgoing port number
Notify me:
- You can choose either to be notified or not when email has been sent
Send test email to:
- This email should be your address
Email signature:
- This is the signature that will appear on the email.
Email group size:
- Most email can be sent in groups of 50.
- If you have difficulty in sending, you can use the down arrow to lower the number.
Test settings:
- Once your email has been setup, click Test Settings.
- If the settings are correct, you will receive a message on the screen that the email has been sent successfully.
- If there is an incorrect setting, the incorrect setting will be displayed.
- Contact your email service provider for the correct setting.
Disable email:
- Click the Disable Email button to disable email.
